Groupe Partouche Releases the Q1 Financial Report, Revenue Increased

The Supervisory Board of the Groupe Partouche released the report of the first half-year audited accounts. The report contained information from November 2022 to April 2023, and it was submitted by the Groupe Partouche Executive Board.

Great improvements:

The results were announced during the meeting held in Paris on June 27th

Overall, the results were good, and a significant improvement was noticed after the last health measures were lifted in February and March last year.

As a consequence of lifting the measures, the Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) increased by 17.6%, or € 341.0 million, and there was an increase in turnover as well, which was 15.2%, or € 215.6 million.

EBITDA increased by 24.6%, with earnings of € 42.7 million, and during the first half of the 2022 financial year, it was € 34.2 million.

The current operating income (COI) was € 19.3 million, which is twice as much as in the previous year when it was € 9.7 million.

On the other hand, the net income was € 18.8 million, which is a decrease compared to April 2022, when the net income was € 24.6 million. However, the sale of the stake that occurred in the Swiss Crans-Montana casino had a great impact on the increase in the net income in the last year, as well as the old disputes’ resolution in Belgium, which brought € 3.4 million.

So far, Groupe Partouche’s financial structure is healthy, with a constant cash flow that helps make the environment solid and secure. When it comes to the cash flow, after paying the taxes and fees, which in total cost € 127.8, remains the equity of € 369.0 million, and the net debt of € 38.6 million, which is in accordance with the previously established loan agreement.

Plans for renovation:

The great results allowed the Group to make some changes and restructure some of its establishments. One of the Group’s casinos, DIVONNE, will be completely renovated in order to get back its old glow. The general cleaning is already completed, and it will be followed by the reopening of the interior bays, which became possible after the cleaning, making the casino a modern and unique place that will draw the attention of gamblers from the region. New gaming rooms will be added, as well as the bar, restaurant, and completely new design of the old place, but with the mission to preserve the spirit of the old casino.

The VICHY casino will also be renovated, enlarging the gaming room, restaurant, bar, and all entrance hall areas.

The information about financial information for the third quarter of 2023 will be released on Tuesday, September 12th, and the turnover for the 4th quarter of 2023 will be announced on December 12th.

Rockstar Reportedly Almost Released The Warriors On GBA

Rockstar’s The Warriors is one of the oddest games that the GTA developer ever released, though it’s quite enjoyable in its own right. According to a recent report from retro gaming site Time Extension, Rockstar came extremely close to releasing a GBA port of the game around 2005, but it was ultimately canned.

The Time Extension piece attributes the information to an anonymous former Rockstar Games employee. That employee says that the game was essentially finished when it was canceled in 2005, and that it used tech from Rockstar Leeds’ GBA port of Max Payne, including the game engine. The piece also states that there’s at least one copy of the game out there, but it hasn’t yet seen a release due to potential legal concerns.

Fear The Spotlight Review – Blumhouse's First Video Game Is Best Enjoyed As An Intro To Horror

Blumhouse Productions is arguably the biggest name in Hollywood horror today. The studio’s ubiquitous logo appears before what feels like every other theatrically-released horror movie. It’s clear the company has made the genre its focus, and I love that. It means there’s always more to look forward to, even as results surely vary. With Fear The Spotlight, Blumhouse marks its debut in video games, which similarly excites me. Its games will also surely vary in quality, but this indie ghost story is a memorable debut, both for the burgeoning publisher and the pair of developers who built it together.

Fear The Spotlight stars Amy and Vivian, two high-school friends sneaking around school after-hours as soon as the game begins. Amy is dressed like a Hot Topic kid, …

Far Cry 6 Adding Free Stranger Things, Rambo, And Danny Trejo DLC

Ubisoft has announced the DLC roadmap for Far Cry 6’s post-launch content, and it includes crossover missions featuring Rambo, Stranger Things, and the actor Danny Trejo.

The missions are part of the free updates coming to Far Cry 6 at some point after launch. Playable solo or in co-op with two players, the DLC includes the crossover missions featuring the characters above, as well as weekly “insurgency” missions and events called operations.

The Insurgencies, as they’re called, take place each week after launch on October 7, and they will stay playable even when a new one arrives. The Insurgencies involve players tracking down Anton Castillo’s underlings to earn new gear.

The Special Operations, as they’re called, take players to “unique new areas” of Far Cry 6’s fict…

Wolfenstein- Youngblood Nintendo Switch Review

From front to back, Wolfenstein: Youngblood is very much the same game on the Nintendo Switch as it is on other consoles and PC. You’ll get the bombastic combat scenarios where you’ll tear through Nazi trash as the charismatic, dynamic duo of Jess and Soph Blazkowicz, twin daughters of series hero BJ Blazkowicz. And you have the opportunity to play it all alongside a friend. The portable nature of the Nintendo Switch makes this an even more enticing prospect, but the platform’s limited hardware hurts the game’s best parts; low frame rates and muddy visuals make the action harder to enjoy. While these issues are not prohibitive, they do make the Switch version the weakest of the bunch.

Youngblood is a bite-sized spin-off that jumps ahead in Wolfenstein’s timelin…

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Will Retail At $599 – Report

It’s worth noting that the RTX 4070 Ti is already out, and retails for $799. That card was briefly known as the RTX 4080 12 GB and was set to launch at a $899 price point, but a backlash from consumers ultimately made Nvidia “unlaunch” the card.
